This is me with my faithful manfriend, Dani. We've been together for just over a year and we're having the time of our lives. Earlier we went to the park and just spent a few hours in each other's company soaking up the long-awaited rays and talking about life, the universe and everything. Being one half of a happy, healthy couple feels good but I'll always keep my not-so-happy days in mind because the memories keep my feet on the ground and help me to empathise with others who might be going through heartbreak, betrayal, confusion or a long bout of single life which is starting to feel like a prison stretch. I've been through the ups and downs of all of these things and, of course, it's predictable that I'll say it was all character building! Well, it was!
Since Beltane is the festival of passion and love, I'll be planning a series of super passionate and loving posts about relationships - the good, the bad and the ugly - for the sunny month of May. I'm going to be delving into the art of communication, the value of compromise, the honeymoon period, the seven year itch and everything in-between. Of course, Tarot is a fabulous tool to help us explore these subjects, so expect a hefty dose of my much loved cards!
