Bonds of Shadow: Talks on Darkness in Human Relationships

Bonds of Shadow is a collection of lovingly created video resources for those who dare to examine the darker parts of their interpersonal relationships. It was original launched in May 2018. It offers TEN exclusive videos which focus on different 'shadowy' relationship dynamics, aiming to bring them fully into the light where they may have been lurking undetected. Each password-protected video offers approximately half an hour of insights, suggestions and exercises to help you form a deeper understanding of dynamics which may have had a harmful effect on relationships in the past or which may actually have their grip on a present relationship. The videos address human connections in general rather than focusing solely on romantic attachments, making this collection accessible and inclusive.
One of my main sources of fascination when doing my own shadow work is looking at how I operate in my relationships with people. When witnessing a dynamic which is unhealthy, harmful, shrouded in secrecy and permitted to ensue unchecked, my next step is to pull that dynamic into the light and understand why it exists, what feeds it and how I have been contributing to its continuation. Through doing this work repeatedly, I have collected a lot of different thoughts about dynamics which tend to show up and how to bring awareness of such dynamics to a place of consciousness, action and personal responsibility. Alongside my own journey of exploring relationship shadows, I have had the privilege of working with my audience and clientele to unravel their stories and bring clarity to their connections, allowing me to appreciate the different sides of frequently observed relationship issues.
